When can a shop accept payments?

Marketplace payments must be open, and the seller must complete their connected payment account setup. Product checkout shows whether that shop can accept an order.

You can prepare your profile, products, and storefront before payments are available. Publishing a product by itself does not activate checkout or payouts.
